Q & A with Pam O’ Bryant and Brandon Green, members of the elite International Master Faculty at Keller Williams Realty International

Pam O’Bryant, Chief Engagement Officer of KW Capital Properties and Brandon Green are now part of the elite International Master Faculty at Keller Williams Realty International.

On behalf of the KW Capital Properties family, we would like to congratulate them on this unique designation which is granted only to those who have proven themselves to be great trainers, icons of Keller Williams Realty and ambassadors for Keller Williams University (KWU) at the highest level.

Only the most successful KWU approved trainers, who are not only great at training and ambassadorship, but are also considered icons within the Keller Williams family are asked to be a part of Keller Williams International Master Faculty.

Q.1: What does it mean for you and KW Capital Properties to be appointed to the International Master Faculty (IMF)?

Pam: To me, being part of Keller Williams International Master Faculty  is a huge honor. It creates the opportunity to take the KW curriculum, culture and message to a broader audience, and as your description points out, ambassadorship is a significant part of the role. What I most appreciate is being able to take a stand for the agent. The KW curriculum is designed to support the agent in the broker/agent relationship, allowing for a interdependent relationship. In this way, the fit between KW Capital Properties and KW IMF is perfect. At KW Capital Properties, we take a stand for the agent as well and are staking our future on supporting the agent’s role in the real estate transaction.

What it means for KW Capital Properties to have two designated IMF members is the recognition that KW Capital Properties is living the KW culture and vision.  KWRI has approximately 120,000 associates around the world and fewer than 80 IMF members. That two of them are with KW Capital Properties is extraordinary.

Brandon: Keller Williams Realty was named the number one training organization in the world. It is truly an honor to be a part of this group of elite trainers who are committed to the personal and professional development of our agent entrepreneurs. Being appointed to the International Master Faculty not only helps facilitate the growth of our organization and the message of empowering agent entrepreneurs, but also allows us to reach out to networks outside of the region and get them to be a part of KW Capital Properties.

Q.2: The Keller Williams Family Reunion 2015 concluded a month ago. What was the one key takeaway or aha moment for you?

 Pam“Get back to the basics and follow the models.” 

The message was loud and clear that when we follow the models and focus on the basics, the agent wins. With the recent news of Zillow, Trulia and ListHub, the issue of who owns the data is much more obvious today than it was a few years ago. When agents follow the model and master the basics, no one will be able to step in the middle of our agent/client relationship to disenfranchise us.

Brandon: “Your database is your business.”

Our job as real estate agents is to connect with people in our databases and provide tremendous value and services to them. We often get bored with this tactic, but in keeping with what Pam said, it is important for us to get back to our basics. Our database is what great business is all about.

Q.3: Are there any important developments for KW Capital Properties in 2015 that you would like the staff to know about?

Pam: We are so very excited about some really big initiatives on the plate for 2015! In the first quarter, we will finalize hiring and launching Productivity Coaches in each KW Capital Properties office. These coaches will be responsible for bringing to life our impact goal of launching real estate careers for new agents.

The next initiative will be to hire a Transaction Coordinator for each office to help provide some leverage for agents who need it and are not yet ready to hire for themselves. By having this role available for transactional assistance, the agent can focus on those basics of lead generation and conversion while knowing their clients are having a wonderful experience throughout the transaction.

Brandon: We have many great initiatives to look forward to this year. The grand opening of our new space on Capitol Hill and the launch of our new luxury division; these are two important developments that our staff and agents will hear more about in the coming months.
